Durupinar features a boat-like formation reportedly exposed by heavy rains and earthquakes in 1948. It is located just north of the Iranian border. One of those is the Durupinar site, an area in the Mount Tendürek area of eastern Turkey. A number of different expeditions have laid claim to discovering physical evidence of such a vessel. Nancy’s happiest times were spent together with her children, granddaughter, family, and friends. She had a tribe of best friends that brought out the best in her. Her smile radiated positivity, and her calm, welcoming presence allowed for amazing friendships to be come into her life. Nancy was known for her gentle, caring, patient, and loving personality. She would light up at any opportunity to share stories, achievements, and memories of her son, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter. Nancy always said she was put on this Earth to be a mother her children were her life. She kicked boxed four days a week for the last 25 years.

As she grew up, Nancy developed a passion for fitness. For the last 10 years, Nancy was employed as an Instrument Coordinator at Werfen, in Bedford MA, where she was able to utilize her first language, French-Canadian.Īs a child she enjoyed taking trips to Canada, snowmobiling with her family, summers at the beach with friends, and making memories at her parents’ lake house in Maine. She proudly worked as the President of her family business for 20 years.

After graduating, she attended Burdett Business School in Boston where she earned her associate’s degree. Nancy graduated from Merrimack High School in 1987. She was born in Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada on August 5, 1969, to Gaston and Suzanne Mercier. Nancy Mercier, 52, of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully surrounded by her close family on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
